Automation Windows Performance Monitor:PhysicalDisk-Counter

With automation I want to check some Windows performance counters (especially the PhysicalDisk-counter).
I found an automation "Performance Logs and Alerts 1.0 Type Library". But I haven't the slightest idea how to initialise and get some information out of it.
I checked the Microsoft site and I found this url http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/counter/counters1_paaz.asp. But I didn't find an example on how to use it.#-o
Someone has an example (preferable in Navision [-o< ) on how to use it?
