Automation Windows Performance Monitor:PhysicalDisk-Counter

With automation I want to check some Windows performance counters (especially the PhysicalDisk-counter).
I found an automation "Performance Logs and Alerts 1.0 Type Library". But I haven't the slightest idea how to initialise and get some information out of it.
I checked the Microsoft site and I found this url http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/counter/counters1_paaz.asp. But I didn't find an example on how to use it.#-o
Someone has an example (preferable in Navision [-o< ) on how to use it?

It seems that you will not be able to use this automation directly, because there are parameters of incompatible type for Navision... think about some wrapper library...
