    Like normal.
The program doesn’t know anything about network. Just point it at the server!

    Maybe a DNS problem.
    Try using IP instead

Which IP? I tried using the Private IP and i got the same error. but never tried the Public IP. do I need to forward the port also ?

No forwarding needed when going through VPN.

Can you ping/connect to the NAV server by internal ip or hostname?
This i proberbly not a NAV issue, but rather network.

@Juhl yes, it can ping/connect by internal IP or Hostname. but when im using VPN it can still ping the IP of the server. but when I want to connect the nav client, it can't login. See screenshot below for reference4jd3fdyqppre.jpg

If only ip is working on vpn, then use that instead. The error is with hostname.

    Hmm.
Have you tried putting the hostname in the host fil on the OS, so that hostname works?

I do this all the time without any issues.
Is the computer part of the domain if using windows auth?

    hosts
then put in ip and hostname in one line.

Works like a local DNS and overrides DNS

I do not want to impose my opinion, but still, in my opinion, it is better to use proxy servers. After all, piratebay proxies are much better at what they do because they value their customers. I have used this proxy server for half a year. And during this time, I was only satisfied with the use, and it was easy to get acquainted with it. And also, there were not any technical problems, and in case of this, there is a support service. As a result, work without interruption 24/7 at maximum performance; Guaranteed anonymity and protection through effective caching.

It might be difficult to restrict VPN access to only a few programs. The idea behind a VPN is to prevent you from doing this and force ALL traffic via the VPN. The important thing here is to configure your client-side applications to use the proxy and verify its operation, including DNS use of the proxy to buy 4g proxies. There are some extremely complicated workarounds that you might be able to find online. Still, you can also configure a Firewall application with some complex settings. Turning off your VPN when playing video games and turning it back on when necessary is much simpler and safer.
