Hiding Send To

Is there a way to prevent users from selecting Actions -> Send to (MS Word, Excel) from a list view?
(Specifically - from the Posted Sales Invoices page in RTC)

I have found where to manipulate the actions, reports, and related information to a cretain point, but cannot see where this particular option is managed.

Would this be a securities / permissions thing, or a page design?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

you could create a xslt file that creates a blank excel/word document.

You cannot hide the icons. Even if you use older versions of objects which have not this functionality, the icons will be there, but will not work. It means you can add the check into the objects called when clicking the icon...

Using configuration you can remove the actions for a profile:

Launch RTC with the profile you want to modify, goto Customize -> Customize Actions and remove whatever actions you want.

Unfortunately  it doesn't prevent the user from adding the actions again in personalization; but we intend to fix that in a later release.

Thanks to all for the replies.

I will start by customizing the actions from the profile.

    Hi,

I think hiding "Send To" is not possible as of now but I did small workaround to hide the New action in the list page.

    Thanks.
