Due to urgent medical attention required by my ailing to-be born baby, I will be unavailable for quite some time from the professional world.
My kid is suffering from cardiac problem and my wife is admitted in the hospital.

Praying for their health,

The doctors have diagnosed a 6mm VSD in the child's heart and they propose to do a operation after the birth. The timing will be decided after evaluating the condition of the child and after conducting tests.

    Thanks for all your support,

Baby is due on 25th April. The problem is that baby's FHR (Fetal Heart Rate) has low baseline which is keeping doctors worried. My wife is under the medical supervision and doctors has advised us to wait and watch. As per doctors the baby is in development stage and body can fill the VSD on its own (The chances are less but cannot be ruled out). If needed they will operate to save the child and we are just keeping our fingers crossed.

That's the key part. When my brother was born they didn't tell my mom that this happens with every baby, but that he was just a bit slow. For him it worked out without any surgery, and I've been told it happens regularly. I'm sure your wife and baby are in good hands.

Your word are divine. The doctors have discharged my wife from hospital and she is back at home. Doctors say they will wait until completion of 37th week of my baby and will take a decision for the next action after the tests. They have assured of every possible way of normal delivery process. My wife and Baby is fine and I hope everything remains normal.

My wife will have a schedule check tomorrow morning after today's test and doctors have advised for a operation between 15-20th April which will make me a proud father. She might be admitted but rest seems to be fine and under control.
Somehow the sleep has become non-existent.

Every day that passes is another day closer to full term, and a higher probability of a healthy baby, so that sounds like good news :D

We have kept that suspense/excitement till the last, anyhow the boy/girl determination test are banned in India due to female foeticide. We had the opportunity to know because of all the ultrasound/scans being conducted but we choose otherwise.

Well that's true. We are happy and the doctors are more comfortable and confident of smooth delivery but they have decided to go for cesarean operation and not for the normal.
