I'm glad someone cleared that up. I had always wondered if that was true. At the time it seemed like the Navision employee that said it was BSing their way through an answer. I had just heard it a few time. I guess it sounded like a good answer so it just spread.
That is the case - the "Z" is pronounced as a UK English "Z" (as opposed to the more soft US English without the "t" sound) and therefore it becomes Z(et)up . . . .
