Thanks.
I suscessfully iinstalled the BA on other machine. \:D/
I can run configurator without any error. \:D/
But one thing I want to know that when I configur the BA Advance it restart the ANT server.But it nither restart ANT server nor shows any error. It just shows "Restaarting ANT server". But dosent go forword.
Why this happend? What should I do for this ? :-k :-k

There must be some message in event log connected to this.

In event viewer I got messeges like
1.ANT Server Starting
2.ANT Server Shutting down.
But I cant get any messege for again starting ANT server.
It also dosent shows any error or warning messege in Event viewer.
But in actual Configuring the BA it shows me error "Unable to restart ANT Server".
Why it dosent restart ANT server?

It can be because the license of BA, or BA has no access to the BA cube (permissions for the account under which the ANTServer is running), you can try to check ANT server directory for some log file.

I got this messege in log file but I dont understand it.
Can u tell me what is the problem?

There is no info about the problem... This is log for the BA Configurator, but you need to find more info from ANT Server.

I dont find any log file in ANT Server.But when I start ANT server from ANTServer.exe it shows me error
"Invalide Navision License.Contact to suport"
Is this means that my license is not valid?
we r microsoft partner can i ask micosoft for the new license?
because before few days we pass out the exam of Navision.Before our exam they give us one license.Training purpose license.So is this problem of this license?

Hi,

You get this error when trying to start the configurator from Nav and update the sql analysis database with your cubes and data?

Have you upload the license file to the BA?
Do you use SQL database?

Yes I got error when trying to create cube from Navision.
I use NAV database.

I had a very similar problem during updating data using the configurator from Nav.

The problem existed because I had added two times the same shortcut dimension in a cube... And in the "Process cubes" data transformation package in the sql I got an error (while it was executed from the configurator) about a column that already exists in the sql select statement.

I removed the second reference of the dimension in the cube and worked.

So, you must check very carefull your cubes and especialy the last changes you did and see of info that is repeated.

You could also check the data transformation packages log in the sql and see what exactly the problem was and during which package and try to understand why it was raised...

Can anybody got this type of error
When I stert configurator for default cube in another company it will show me error
DTS_Package_7 failed
why it shows me this error/

The default cubes works only on Crodus demo database and company.
If you check the error logs on the sql server, under the dts packages you will be able to see what exaclty the error was...

Maybe you should delete all cubes and define you own...

I have one more question
I defind some dimension like site
when I select the dimension in cube it shows me error
'Dimension entry table no. must not be zero inn BA database'
Why it shows me this error?

It is not very clear that part of setup, but if the cube dimension is an actual Nav dimension, it checks (in the BA Db. Cube Dimensions form) to find a value in the Dimension Entry Table No.

In my setup it has 355 (table ledger entry dimension) which means that he will try to find the dimension through the 355 table.

In normal cube dimension (not actual navision dimensions) it is not needed.

Of course it can work with sql server option... It is all in the installation manual...

Hi vyanku!

I think you will need the following services started:
(1) MSSQLServerOLAPService
and
(2) Distributed Transaction Coordinator

I think the second service is responsible for getting data out of your NAV into the BA-Database.
