I think you should be careful with the solutions suggested by David Cox and Albertvh. Datefilters can be made in a lot of ways that makes GETRANGEMIN/MAX fail. I.e. = "0D|01-01-01..02-02-02" and ">01-01-01". I think it will be close to impossible to de-code all possible situations.
I think you're a bit mixed up in your thinking... You say you have two fields, a "From Date" and a "To Date". If you set a filter where the "From Date" is 01/01/02 and where the "To Date" is set to 04/01/02, then you are not setting a date range filter, but exact values. All you will find is records where the From Date is…
Given a date, return an array of last 13 months. Example 1, given date is 10th of April 2020 (10/04/2020) Array Returned with 01/04/2020 10/04/2020 01/03/2020 31/03/2020 01/02/2020 29/02/2020 01/01/2020 31/01/2020 ....... 01/04/2019 30/04/2019 Example 2, given date is 18th of Feb 2018 (18/02/2018) Array Returned with…
Thanks to Paul Baxter, the following solution: Hi Henry GETFILTER returns a text variable which contains the filter set on the field this could be "..01/01/02|01/02/02..28/02/02|01/06/02.." or something like that using English dates (that’s the month and date reversed for the yanks). What you need to use are the functions…
I have created a text file which export data from a customized table (similar to shipment lines). The output file is fine, but for some of the entries there are mulitple lines - in the file I just want to show the document and total weight. egdoc no date qty 1 01/01/01 20 2 02/01/01 10 3 03/01/01 30 3 03/01/01 50 4…
