Upgrading from 2.0 to 5.0

Hi,
has anyone done an upgrade form 2.0 to 5.0 yet???
I only found entries from 3.6 or 3.7.

Any recommendations for such an upgrade? It is a german version without any development.

Do I also have to use a "2 step process" like described here: http://dynamicsuser.net/forums/t/19568.aspx

    I have just done one. Delivered the testconversion yesterday.

    For the upgrade I use the services and knowledge of Liberty Grove Software.

    They do a great job in upgrades. The upgrade from 2.00 to 5.00 is a 3 step upgrade since there is a seperate toolkit for 2.00 to 2.01 doing something with the report list. (If I remember correctly).

    Be careful. There has been so many redesigns since 2.0 that you are bound to hit a wall somewhere. The customer I did yesterday need some customisations redesigned in the Job module because of the different invoice process.

    I also did some upgrades with CRM involved. This can be quite a challenge.
