What happened?
Wednesday, a problem was detected with the server's filesystem. This problem stopped the server from restarting after a necessary reboot.
The ISP created a new virtual server and started the restore process. But as both the web-server and ftp-server are situated on the same server, it took a very long time (the ftp-server contains +50 GB of files).
Everything concerning files could be restored from the old system. All the data (forum postings) could be restored as well, except for the period 4 September 20:00 (CEST) - 5 September 14:00 (CEST). So if you made a important posting at that time, you'll have to do it again.
What will be done to minimize downtime?
We will separate the ftp-server from the web-server in the near future. This way, a restore of the website will be much quicker, as less data has to be copied.
If you are missing something or something is not working as it should, please use the Feedback forum or Feedback form to report it.
Sorry for any inconvenience, thank you for your patience & have a great weekend!

Good to know.
I had a very busy week, so no time to visit mibuso ... I guess I'm the only one who's glad not having to miss too much0
