  Certainly go for 4 over 3.7, but also consider 5. Although you really want the entire application on the version so you need to consider all modules.

  Why on earth would you want to use 3.7 instead of 4.0? Please give detail.

  Usa the one that comes with your version of NAV. Whatever you do, don't try to squeeze a different version Manufacturing into another version of NAV.

  because not all version of Navision are released in all counties.
  
  I believe in South America, some countries can only get the localized version of 3.7.

  We are using 3.7 for General Ledger, Purchase, Sales and Inventory. So first we to upgrade these existing modules to 4.0 then start implementation of Manufacturing.

  That would be the ideal way, yes.
  
  If your clients wants to go live before 4.0 is released in your country, just be sure to let them know that 5.0 is released already.
