Ok,
my issue is related to requsition worksheet,I want to maintain the history
of all the requisition for refrence. So what I did is I created one database table and one button on requisition worksheet, now when I press the button, then I want to insert all the lines of requision worksheet into the table I have created .0 -
The straight forward way is to settablefilter and run a report with the req. wksh. lines as dataitem. you can then insert the lines in your own table on aftergetrecord. The function for the insert could be written on the req. wksh table to make it generic.0

I would probably add some code to the processing routine that copies the record into the new table as it is processing the lines in the worksheet. You only want the lines as they are actually processed, not just every record that has ever been inserted into the table.0

The again it maybe is only the lines he chooses he wants transferred DenSter... :?0

Of course, but you don't want to just keep a history of every single record that has ever been inserted into that table, you might as well use change log for that. The reason I'd put it in the posting routine is so that it only creates copies of the lines that are actually processed.0
