when we r setting the permissions for users then in the permission window there is 1 field object type it contains Table data,table,form,report,dataport,codeunit,system.i want to know that whats the difference b/w the Table data and the table.

So, if you put a Modify permission on TableData, you could change the datas in.
If you put Modify permission on Table, you allow the user to change the structure of the table (add fields, change properties, ...)
-"Table Data" : execute has no sense.
-"Table" : Read,Insert,Modify,Delete has no sense for normal users. These are for viewing,... the object itself.
