Has anyone else noticed that the North American release does not include ESM (Spanish). I see ESU, ESC and FRA... but no spanish. Am I missing something?

Mexico is no longer part of the US localization, so the ESM language layer is no longer included.

Are you sure it's not part of US localization? or is it just that they didn't release it for 5.0?

In the NA change document for 5.0 read
    2) B10 Inflation Adjustment Table
In order to handle certain legal requirements in Mexico, a new table was added to enter official, government provided inflation adjustments into the system. This will be used (in future versions) to make inflation adjustments to Fixed Asset valuations, among other things. Note that we are not releasing version 5.0 in Mexico. (PSC#1015)
    Table 10240
    Form 10240

    4) New Address Format
A new address format has been added. In this new format, the address line that normally contains City, State and ZIP Code will now contain the ZIP Code, followed by the City followed by the State. This format is generally used only in Mexico, and will not impact you unless you select the new format. (PSC#291)
    Codeunit 365

Reading the above statement, it looks like they simply did not include the language pack for 5.0.

    I'm really upset about this.

Mexico is no longer part of the US localization. They have their own LATAM region now.
