This is a new Navision 4.0 SP3 install, company has only been live for several days.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what this error is and how to correct?

That seems to be a custom error message implemented by your partner.
Navision in Manufacturing gives you a warning not an error.0 -
It seems like customer forgot to post output for that order and posted just consumption... 8)0

I now have more info,
The 2 line items that are causing this issue on the work order are both 0, neither item was produced. therefore no consumption.
However, originally they had a quantity of 10 and the clerk that entered this work order, instead of changing the quantity to 0 (zero) before releasing this work order, added 2 new lines and entered them as -10 to "cancel out" the line items that were not to be produced.
then she released the order, well since these items were not produced now we have a a negative consumption post and no output posting.. ](*,)
how can I unrelease this work order and correct this, I don't see any way of "unposting" this mess....
or can I delete this work order and have the clerk re-enter it correctly without effecting the G/L?0 -
1 - Confirm item consumption in item ledger entries
2 - If there isn’t any consumption / output, you can delete the Manufacturing Order / Reopen.0 -

it doesn't show any consumption, but it won't allow the clerk to delete and reopen the order...0 -
Please check your reservation entries against the production order if exist then cancel the reservation. If does not exist then check your consumption entries against the production order, if consumption entry exist then you have to complete at least one quantity of output and then you can post negative adjustment of that item.
If both type entry does not exist then please check your customisation, if any.Mukesh Sharma0
