SKU and Maximum QTY Reorder Policy

Hi !

I am having a problem with the results of the Requisition Worksheet.

I need to use SKU's and reorder policy Maximum Qty.

eg. Safety Stock Qty - 25
Reorder Point - 25
Maximum Inventory - 100

Qty on hand - 14

When I use the requisition worksheet and "calculate plan" the reorder amount is 100 units and it should be 86 (100 less 14).

I can not get it to work properly.

Do you have a suggestion ?????

Thanks!

    From online Help
In this field, you can enter a quantity that you want to use as a maximum inventory level. When calculating order proposal quantities, the program will then use maximum inventory minus the actual quantity available at the time of the order. Note that depending on the current inventory at the time, this may result in order proposal quantities that cause the projected available balance to exceed the maximum inventory that you define.

Did you define correctly the dates in you planning?

Check Lead Time Calculation in Item Card.
The Qty. on hand can be out of the safe lead time.

That's why I have told you to check dates.

I am not using lead times in the calculation. I will try to input a few different options, perhaps that is the problem.

Thank you for trying to help.

    Hi Liners,

You can do it by remove the number in Safety Stock field or set it less than Qty On Hand.

Why do you use both Safety Stock and Recorder Point at the same time? What different here?
