BA Configurator Error

Hi All

after pusching the Function Start Configurator under Database BA form in Navision I have this error:

Error During Initializzation:

Access violatino at adderss 004d1 727 in module 'BAConfigurator40.exe'. read of address 00000014'

Navision version 4.02
I tryed both with Navisino Server and Stand Alone.

General solution is uninstall BA (all BA packages you will found in the Add&Remove window), delete rest of folders if there are some, install it again. It helped me in these situations with BA.

Ok, check the .log file in the BA folder for more info.

I also got the same Error i.e.

I got the reason why this error occurs. Because Business Analytics works in Navision SP1 Version, not in Navision SP2 Version.

Try Using Nav Sp1 Version

When configuring the cube, you need to be sure, that all data are consistent (sometime when you delete some dimension somewhere, the dimension itself is not deleted in another table and you need to delete it manually etc.), be sure, that you do not have empty line in BA update schedule. Be sure, that you selected company for the cube. It is not easy to keep the cube consistent, sometime it is better to create new one and configure it. Critical point is when you are deleting something in the cube...
