Hello,
I'm trying to create a role that allows users to only read informations and not modify, insert and delete.
So I've set up the role like this.
Object Type Object ID Object Name Read Permission Insert Permission Modify Permission Delete Permission Execute Permission Security Filter
Table Data 0 Yes Yes
Table 0 Yes Yes
Form 0 Yes Yes
Report 0 Yes Yes
Dataport 0 Yes Yes
Codeunit 0 Yes Yes
System 2510 Edition, Rechercher Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
System 3220 Affichage, Filtre table Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
System 3230 Affichage, FlowFilter Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
System 3410 Affichage, Trier Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
System 3510 View, Design Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
System 5330 Outils, Zoom Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
But the problem is, when a users try to print a document (sales order,..) an error message saying that they don't have the permission to modify the Sales Header table appears.
What can I do to let them print documents?

When print the report for Sales invoice, than navision change the field Number of prints in the post. Sales Invoice header.
So, if you want to print these recs, the user also need the permissions to modify these posted table.Do you make it right, it works too!0 -
The Sales Invoice header is a protected table. Only a developer's license can directly modify this table. The permissions need to be handled in the calling object, and the users need indirect permissionsThere are no bugs - only undocumented features.0
