Balances transfer on upgrade

I would like to transfer balances from a coy in 3.70 to a new coy in 4.0 (upgrade). Im sure there is a quicker way around this, Anyone who can help?

Normally upgrade also includes the data migration and there are tools to do it. May be techies can guide you on that.
Or is it that you want to transfer only the balances and not the history data :?:CA Sandeep Singla
