Ctrl F1

Flaffer, when you open a Lookup window (through clicking the upside arrow on the right side of the field), all you have is a list of valid data that you can input on your filters.

CTLR+F1 actually doesn't make any difference in this case.

If you want to select only some records, you should make a correct filter on the field you want.

Yes there is. Let's suppose the 2 specific accounts you want are "10005" and "88694". Then, in "No." field of the record, you should input the following criteria:

10005|88694

Where the pipe sign '|' means an OR sentence (select accounts where number is equal to 10005 or is equal to 88694).

You may use Ctrl+F1 when you have a bunch of records in a list form, and you want to select a lot of records apart away from each other. Then, you mark every record you want with Ctrl+F1 and then go to "View" Menu and then "Marked Only". This will make only the marked ones visible. And then you may, for example, post this set of records.

It's one application I know, but there must be some so much others.

another way is to add a boolean field to the customer card that can be checked off for customers that you want to print something out for. It's easier than typing in every customer number - plus you can create somekind of update report to clear and/or populate this field depending on a criteria.

for example you can pick a specific salesperson with a balance greater than 1000 and the report will fill in this boolean with a check mark.

then you can filter on nthe check mark to print your choices.

this is very flexible.

yu can also create a optins tab on the same report to either clear the field or fill the field so it can be used over and over again.
