Windows authentication on NAV 4 SP2 + SQL 2000

skzskz Member Posts: 4
Hello,

I've a problem with Windows authentication on NAV 4 SP2 with SQL 2000.

If I try to start the application with the administrator user, there's no problem, but if I try to login with another user (from Power User or less) I have no permissions: the error message is: "user or password not valid".

I found something of similar in the forum:
http://www.mibuso.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13288&highlight=authentication
but in this case the problem was with a SQL 2005.

Have you defined the user in Navision or just some group?
    Have you synchronized the users?

1)Yes, I've defined the user in Navision in the menu "tools" -> security -> login windows and I've set the role "SUPER" for this user.

    2)Yes I've synchronized the users.

Yes garak, I've updated the xpndo.dll...

I've resolved following the advice from nunomaia: I have deleted the user in the DB (in the sql server enterprise manager) and, in Navision, I made the synchronization.

    Thanks to all..
