Planned release date

We currently have 3.70 and 4.0 installations in our companies, and I like to propose an upgrade path to the 5.0 version to my CFO. Does anyone already has information about a planned release date for the W1-version?

    Currently the upcomming release dates are:
    Dynamics 4.0 SP3 Q4-2006
    Dynamics 5.0 Q4-2006 Early ISV Beta Access
    Dynamics 5.0 Q1-2007 for add-ons and preparation to sell
    Dynamics 5.0 Q2-2007 for sell

    Release dates for 5.00 is for group 1 countries only

    I bet it will be released after Dynamics GP 10. So once Dynamics GP 10 is released will you see NAV

    The release date for Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3:

    Group 1 countries (GR1) is expected to release 23rd October 2006
    Group 2 countries (GR2) is expected to release 9th November 2006
    Group 3 countries (GR3) is expected to release 8th December 2006

    so, what is SP3 supposed to offer ? I am an end user so no access to partner source.

    Hi there

    Unfortunately the information about the content of SP3 not yet available. But it should be an update of fixes (bug-hunting) and updates on some of the SQL 2005 issues (4-5 *.exe updates so far)

    Rumour has it that also some of the 5.0 C/Side functionality will be release at this point..but which ones I do not yet know.

    Stay tuned hopefully more information within the new week or so.
