Hello,
I am using NA4.0 with SQL option. I have a problem to setup Change Log.
The procedure I have done:
1) Go to Change Log setup-> Setup-> Tables
2) Select table Id 7012 (Purchase Price), All Fields for Insert, some fields for Modify, some fields for Delete.
3) Go back to Change Log setup, activate it.
4) Go to Item card, -> Purchase->Price, create some new price, modify, and delete some old price.
5) Go to Change log, there is no log for purchase price. (I can only see the log for my change in the change log setup.)
(I try to set all field for insert, modify, delete, but still no log)
Do you know why?

Have you reopened the company after activating the change log?
From the online help:Setting Up Change Log
A common problem in an administrative computer system is to locate the origin of errors and alterations in data. It could be anything from a wrong customer phone number to a wrong posting to the general ledger. The change log functionality gives you the ability to track all direct modifications a user makes to data in the database.
You must specify for each table and field what you want the system to log, and then you need to activate the change log.
To Set Up Change Log:- Open the Change Log Setup (Table) List window.
- Fill in the fields for each line. For Help about a specific field, click the field and press F1.
- Close the window.
- To activate the change log, in the Change Log Setup window, click to insert a check mark in the Change Log Activated field. Close the window.
You must close the company and open it again for the new change log settings to take effect. - To close the company, click File, Company, Close.
- To open the company, click File, Company, Open. In the Open Company window, select the company and click OK.
The program always logs changes to the Change Log Activated field, which means that you are always able to see which user deactivated or reactivated the change log. This cannot be turned off.0 -
Thanks. Now the log is working.

Where does it log to? Is there a file or somewhere in the database that all this activity is written to, where can you see it?
