HI all,
I want to check the field of item table (27) "No." linked in how many tables.
Is there any easy method or I have to manually go to every table for this?
I think it maybe delevper toolkit. because I have ever asked in this forum about discrete quantity field use in the item table, and ara3n told he used developer toolkit to check the field link to where...
Epxort all the objects in NDT,right click the field in that the item table and click the "Where Used" option,it will tell wherever that field is used in all the objects or u can also filter to find the field usage in tables
It is best to use the NDT on the database in question as there can always be additonal tables in a localized database as well as tables created due to customization.
As far as I remember, Navision has a system table called 'Field', which contains ALL fields in database.
I cannot access Navision at the moment, but as far as I remember, in this table there are some fields related with table relationship.
So, the easest way would be just filter this table by your needs. But don't forget that in such case you will only know the other fields in DB which are related to the one you are interested. And if you want to know the places your field is used in source code, so use NDT

2) You can use NDT (Navision Developer Toolkit) to find where the field is used. Search for NDT for more info...

It's nice to see the answer from you.
I think the answer only developer toolkit but the result/answer is now available.
