hi
how can i identify a Navision Version if it is world wide version or local version?
if i do backed up in a certain version and restore it to different version of navision, what would be happened to the system ?
will the system getting confuse?
will the data stay consistent?
if i have master and transaction data in Nav SP1 (or whatever), whats the best way to do to move/copy them to another Nav system (i mean .. the new system has different version from the old one)?
thank you for your kind responses..

using alt+H and then select about microsoft business solutions navision
if wordwide: W14.00 SP2 (4.0 SP2); ID4.00 SP2 (For indonesia)
if you have made some modifications or created table new fields etc, it will be needed to be upgraded. Don't worry, there will be no confusing
Just doing upgrade using method that can be searched in this forum. there are many topics relate to upgrade version.
