    I am trying to get Business Notification working:

    I have it installed: got a template configured and running. And can send a notification from the notification worksheet. But cannot receive email.

    Installed on a Win2k3 server, with SQL 2K and SQL Notification services
    (single Server). The server has a virtual SMTP configured with delivery details to our exchange server.

    I can get a reply from telnet servername 25

    The send notifications is ticked.

    The event log error i am getting in application log is:

    The following exception occured when trying to send out notification email: Could not access 'CDO.Message' object blah blah blah blah. Please make sure that you have configured your SMTP server correctly.

    Also the subscribepage is blank http://servername/businessnotificationsubscribe

    Anyideas to what i am doing wrong?

    Hi

    I have resolved the email issue:

    renamed the SMTP value in the web.config file from localhost to the servername.


    But the http://servername/businessnotificationsubscribe/ page is still blank

    Any ideas on how to resolve this?

    Hi

    Does anyone know why the BN sunscribe page is blank?

    I have noticed someone else in the forum mentioned it but had no feed back.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi

    I resolved the blank subscription page by doing the following:

    Business Notification sub page is hard coded in U.S format.

    From you internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options > Languages > Add English US and move to the top.

    Restart IE

    The Subscription page will appear. This does not effect the US regional users, just us Europeans :evil: !!

    hello,

    I am trying to install notification services. but i got the error message
    "SQL NS Registration failed".
    i read all discussions about notification services but no way got.
    on my server operating system Windows 2003 server
    microsoft .net framework1.1
    ms sql server satandart 2000 with sp4
    iis
    sqlxml 3.0 sp2
    ms sql server notification services 2.0 sp1
    i installed allof them.
    when i tried to run notification services from navision 4.01 cd.
    i got the error message. what should i do ? DO I NEED TO INSTALL NAVISION APPLICATION SERVER?
    i really need help.

    Normally this is done by the installation.

    ok add 2 lines but in Nvision Business notificatin I can`t add new from Template Get "There are no business entities available. Please ensure that there is a Company" message
