Hi All,
I'm working on Business Central 16.0 version. I have changed the data type of a field in table extension, by making the original field as Obsolete. It didn't have any data in the table. Then I created a new field with new field ID and required data type and published the extension.
I wanted to know if it is possible to delete this old field which I have made obsolete from sql side and does it has any impact on BC.
Thanks,
Hareesh

If you are working onprem and only onprem then you can use the force sync option.
But since you are on BC16 then I think it is onprem.
Since BC19 (I thought) you can also do a forcesync with a PTE extension. With appsource extensions you cannot use a force sync.1
