Sub Page ProviderId and updting a factbox based on a temporary table

I have a Page, with a SubPage (ID:1000000001) and a factbox (ID:1000000022 and Provider ID:1000000001) with appropriate SubPageLink.

All works.

However, I need the factbox to be based on a Temporary table pulling out various fields from the factbox SubPageLink record and showing them in rows rather than columns.

So I need to call a function on the factbox to populate it from the Page OnAfterGetCurrRecord. This does fire the function in the factbox which populates the temporary table as desired, however nothing is displayed even though the fields in the SubPageLink are all populated in this temporary table (Rec) !

Any pointers appreciated?
