Data Exchange

We need to create a bank payment file from the payment journal and are looking at setting up a data exchange definition for it. The file format is a bit odd though - there are 25 fields and each one has to be on a line of its own in the file, so lines 1 to 25 are all part of record 1, lines 26 - 50 are record 2, etc. Is there any way to do this without development?

We ended up buying add-ons for this. Not that expensive and covered things the standard does not, like if you transfer payment for a bunch of invoices in one go - to save on transaction fees - you can print and send a report to your vendor or to book exported but not yet verified (not statement yet) into a special ledger. Pretty sure the largest NAV partner of your country has an add-on. Or if you are a NAV partner, well, go ahead and develop it.

To my best knowledge, current data exchange framework is for XML and CSV formats. Which this one is neither.
