Automatically Idle Client Timeout - NAV2016 - doesn't work!

Hello,

I have problem with NAV 2016.

I set at the NAV Service Instance property: Idle Client Timeout for 10 minutes (00:10:00), but it doesn't work.

If i set this property for 1 minutes (00:01:00) it's work, but only if i go deeper in app and leave idle.

I have seen many tutorials about set this property, but neither of them doesn't work in my case,

If you have any suggestions please let me know.

James

What do you mean by crash? Usually, it will show error something like "NAV cannot get connection" and then it will close.

Yes, i get this message like 'NAV cannot get connection' but next i get this standard crash error : Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client has stopped working

Hm, don't know about that, id could be build version specific issue. Check the event log on that computer, and if it happens on all computers or single one.

Same problem seen in NAV 2016 CU10. Do you know if it has been fixed in later releases?
