account schedule gives a empty screen

in Navision Financials
creating a new company. COA is created and so is the posting done. however when i try and create the accoutn schedule , comes up with a empty screen with the field codes added. using navision version 5.0. any clue on where to start for fixing the issue.

also , when i try and export to excel from the payment journal screen or the coa screen, excel gives error failed to load open . error in the item " Tbe Table "

    excel error was due to the fact that the entries in the chart of accounts had space after the end of the numbers . removed those spaces out and export to excel is working like a charm.

    anyone could provide guidance on how to do the accounting schedules.

    XML ERROR in Table
    REASON: Bad Value
    FILE: C:\Users\RKamath\AppData\Local\Temp\Chart of Accounts.xml
    GROUP: Cell
    TAG: Data
    VALUE: 5225001

    getting this error. shows for almost all the accounts in COA. guess this could be the reason why account schedules is not working. guidance is highly appreciated.
