Hey,
we have a xmlport that imports files from a network directory, but the user get "access denied" error. Is there any way to open the file with client credentials? or download it to a temporary location on the client and run from there?.

What you need to do is to upload the file from client to server, and then in the code opening/loading the XML refderence the file on the server
Look into codeunit 419, yo will find there functions enabling you to select file on the clinent machine, upload them to the temporaty location on the NST server, and delete uploaded file after procesing is done.Slawek Guzek
