Ability to modifying of system objects in future NAV versions

Is Microsoft going to remove entirely possbility of changing code in standard objects in NAV in future versions?

I've heard rumors and cannot believe it..

    I believe that is what Microsoft trying to achieve, question is from which version.
    Do not think VS code is ready now.

    I have also heard that, but when talking to the D365 team, it seems that maybe they don’t know.
    I also asked if the hosted D365 version will allow customer extensions to bypass AppSource, as I think that’s important, and they haven’t given me an answer on that as well.
    So there are a lot of questions in my head as well??? But maybe we are not there....

    Anyone with insider info?
