Upgrade to NAV2016 - GL Ledger Entries Dimensions Wrong

We have a client live on NAV2016 after an upgrade from NAV5.1 Classic. Unfortunately, this error was not discovered until after the client was live, so there is no redo. The problem is that the Dimensions were not brought over correctly into the G/L Ledger Entries. The Dimensions on the lines are mixed. Many are right, some are wrong, but the new Dimension Set Entry table 480, was not brought over correctly from table 355 in the older release. Since we're live, we need to fix this using programming. This upgrade was done using the upgrade tools. Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know if MS has created a tool to fix this?

    This is the first time I hear this. I would do the following. Take the 5.1 db and upgrade it again on a separate db. You will have the correct dimension sets for your history. write a process to fix the history. Any transaction that was posted after the upgrade, you need to fix the dimension set ID of those transaction based on the newly created database.

    We programmed this. Got the Dims from 5.1 by GLE transaction #, selected the correct Dim Set ID's and updated the Global DIM on the GLE lines and added the DIM set IDs. Worked great.
