econnect type function for Nav

I am a Nav developer/consultant and also a GP consultant.

Our app delivers transactions to GP using econnect. To deliver to Nav we use C/FRONT. Econnect uses the build in 'business logic' validation of GP but C/FRONT does not have validation, you have to write it yourself. We don't want to do that, we want the Nav businees logic to do the validation for us.

I was thinking that with the webservices element of Nav6 I could create a webservice to deliver the document (and maybe post it at the same time!) and that this would include automatic validation.

I only need to deliver GL journals, sales ledger and purchase ledger transactions. We don't use SOP/POP. Is there a standard 'interface' that I can just add as a webservice or do I have to roll my own?
