Use word document as email body for SMTP

Hi at all,

I have the problem that I should create a function for sending emails with the SMTP functions. The emails should have formatted as HTML and a word document (an attachement from the Interaction Templates) should inserted as the mail body. The standard is doing that in case of sending mail by interaction log entry.

But, how can I do that with the SMTP functions?

Could anyone help me please?
