Hello Luc. I found the RSS feeds extremely useful. I used TIER, Tips, and Design Patterns.
RSS feeds are built in in this forum. Just add /feed.rss to the URL.

    Examples:
If you want a feed of recent discussions: http://forum.mibuso.com/discussions/feed.rss
If you want a feed of the category NAV Three Tier: http://forum.mibuso.com/categories/nav-three-tier/feed.rss

Hmmm, how can I watch for new topics under more categories? I am missing this one. Was using the SmartFeed on old forum when I selectedfew categories and I had the new topic only once there. Now, if I use discussions feed and NAV Three Tier I will have one in both feeds or I will need to have more feeds for each separate category... hmmm....

@kine Currently it's not possible in Vanilla to have one feed containing selected categories. Besides the recent discussions feed that is.

Impressed with the new website . Good job.

Ok, is there some option to not get e-mail notification for all answers to thread I subscribed, but only for the first one and receive new notification only after I read the thread again? Now I have notification for each reaction and it is overloading my inbox.

    Hello, Luc

I am wondering where blogs are moved? Or are they completely taken out?
Why I am asking - I am (was) signed to kriki's blog feed (http://mibuso.com/blogs/kriki) and wanted to open one of last topics: http://mibuso.com/blogs/kriki/2015/09/29/mainpage-with-action-always-runs-the-action-on-the-first-record-of-the-subpage/
    and it gives error 404

Also, links in download section of forum lead to old notation of download pages (IDs instead of current symbolic links)
for example on the forum http://forum.mibuso.com/discussion/49935
    current link http://www.mibuso.com/dlinfo.asp?FileID=1410
    need http://mibuso.com/downloads/service-tier-administration-tool-v2.3.0

    Best regards,
    Paul.

@AntidotE Blogs were not moved to the new site. As I'm unable to find a Wordpress developer to migrate the blogs to a subdomain, the blogs remain unaccessible. I currently don't have the time to look at it myself. There is a conference that needs be organized as well you know.
Old URL's inside forum postings were not updated as this was out of scope of the forum migration.
I reported your comment regarding the Code-section to the person in charge of the migration.

I asked Vanilla support. This is their answer: "That is not currently possible, no. They may want to consider popups instead of emails, which would populate their notification feed on the forum but not overload their inbox.".

I asked Vanilla support. This is their answer: "Thanks for pointing this out Luc. It appears to be an import issue. Could be that the post format type might not be compatible.

We will be looking into this deeper in our sprint next week.".

Thanks, will look into that. If I can crate RSS for the notification, it could be the way...

Hmm, http://forum.mibuso.com/profile/notifications/feed.rss is not working. How could I create feed for the notifications? I need a way how to open all the new things on one click, I cannot go through and click on each one. I am able to solve this in Outlook, but I need to feed it somehow...

    Hi everyone,

Just wanted to mention that if you want, I can help moving your blog to an individual wordpress site.

I did this for Claus. It has moved to clauslblog.wordpress.com.

If you want me to help you, send me a pm.

    Hi Luc.

It is not possible to use old links to mibuso.com. Many solutions and answers cannot looked up. Why?
Where can i find the blogs of users?

    Kind regards

The redirection of old forum links should work.
The blogs section was not moved to the new server. See other threads for more info. I'm tired of repeating myself.

    Hello Luc,
after inserting the navthreetier feed in outlook, I only get the new posted messages. Outlook does not showing any reply messages. What have I to do to receive these replies also as in the old mibuso feed?
    Thanks in advance.
    Oli
PS: Website and Forum layout is really great!

That doesn't seem supported by Vanilla.

I have added several of the categories as rss feeds, however I only get the initial posts, not the responses. Is that just me or is there a problem with the rss feeds?

    <Edit>
I see that from a post above this might be a limitation with the new vanilla platform. That is a huge shame, it makes the rss basically useless (compared to how it was). I strongly urge that it is requested to vanilla to support this, Mibuso deserves no less!
