  Microsoft Report Viewer 2014 to run reports that use RDLC report layouts.
  
  Microsoft Visual Studio or SQL Server Report Builder for creating and editing RDLC report layouts. The following versions and editions are supported:
  
  Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Professional, Premium, or Ultimate edition.
  
  Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Professional, Premium, or Ultimate edition.
  
  SQL Server Report Builder 3.0 for Microsoft SQL Server 2014, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
  
  SQL Server Report Builder 3.0 for Microsoft SQL Server 2014, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 to upgrade reports.

  The Community Edition of Visual Studio is free for qualifying persons/organisations. You can download it and read the license.
