Not able to access database through Web client

While accessing database through web client error occurs - "A server error has occured, and the content cannot be displayed. Refresh the page or open a new browser window." I have checked all the settings but still the same error is coming.
When i enter localhost then page is displayed but after entering IP address above error occured. please help me...

- Are you able to ping the IP?
- Did you the check if the firewall is blocking the access?
- Also trying to connect with servername.domain.local:8080 (assuming that you didn't change port no.) raises the same error?
- Try also including the IP inside the trusted sites of the browser.

I really appreciate for your reply...
- Yes, I am able to ping the IP.
- The firewall is off.
- I tried with "http://servername:8080/DynamicsNAV71/WebClient" but no display.
- I tried IP and Server Name both...should I check telnet too??
Or may be their is a problem with configuration??
