    how is your location setup?

If's directed pick and putaway, you would use Warehouse journal. Make a positive and negative entry.

If it's not directed pick and putaway, you use reclass journal and specify the bin and new bin code.

If this is to be done by a "regular" user, "Movement worksheet" is to be used.

Why? "Regular" users can learn to use journals also.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

I wouldn't want users to learn NAV by playing around with journals especially if we're talking warehouse employees.

Using journals is not "playing around". It's called training.
