Can i use this tool?

Yes, you can use that tool.
But you have to import CRONUS 5.0; CRONUS 2009, customer 5.0.
Then you have the NDT create a 4th version (= customer 2009). Then you have to control if the merge has been done correctly and do some manual merge too where the NDT wasn't able to determine what to do.
This 4th version you have to import later in the data-upgrade process.Regards,Alain Krikilion
