Hello, I have read the threads regarding how to add custom help text which is great if you are a developer, which I am not:)

Is there a way for a customer or end user to add their own Help text to NAV 2009 RTC (R2)? They want to add procedures for their staff in NAV help.

Please let me know.

Thx!

J

Until 5.0 we had so called Company Notes which enabled end-users (and partners) to add to Online Help as you are asking for. Due so security reasons this feature has been abandoned. So now, if you want to add things the only way I know of is the developer way.

    Hi there,

To customize the Help in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2, you need to have a Solution Developer license. You can try working with your partner to customize and add Help to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Help collection for your specific needs. There isn't currently another way to do this, but we are looking at different licensing options for future versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

    Thanks,
