    1. what is report that we access in RTC NAV 2009?
Answer: The report used in RTC Nav 2009 is Sql Server Reporting RDLC 2005 which is rendered in local mode.
    2. can Nav access report from SSRS or Crystal report?
Answer: There is no build in method to access SSRS Server Redered reports and Crystal Reports, but you can do it yourself in Nav2009 SP1, with Client Extensibility http://blogs.msdn.com/b/nav/archive/201 ... ample.aspx
    3. What is the best report we can make, for the future for NAV?
Answer: RDLC reports, classic CSIDE report machine will be discontinued in the future.

    Best regards,
    Torben

can we create RDLC report without using Cside report classic first?
i mean we create direct using visual studio report designer
and then we execute it through RTC
    is it can be done?

    Hi julkifli33,

I suggest you have a look at our training material for how to create reports for NAV 2009. This can be found here:
    https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/training/trainingmaterials/student/course80146.htm

You will also find tips and tricks to Reporting in NAV 2009 on the NAV team blog found here:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/nav
Sort on the Reporting tag to the right.

Also you will find our Online help for reporting here:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd338686.aspx

But no you cannot create a report directly from Visual Studio, you will need to create the dataset first in NAV, before you can create a layout in Visual Studio.
But this is well documented in our training material.

    Regards,
    Claus
