can we create RDLC report without using Cside report classic first?
i mean we create direct using visual studio report designer
and then we execute it through RTC
is it can be done?
You will also find tips and tricks to Reporting in NAV 2009 on the NAV team blog found here: http://blogs.msdn.com/nav
Sort on the Reporting tag to the right.
But no you cannot create a report directly from Visual Studio, you will need to create the dataset first in NAV, before you can create a layout in Visual Studio.
But this is well documented in our training material.

Claus
