Has anybody got this, are there any major diffrences ? (except of course the SQL Server option.).

Anything been improved in the designer ?

There has been practicaly no changes other than what is nescecary to support the SQL Server Option.

In the US version, I believe they increased the max record length.

Anyone know what 2.6 improvements are besides Win2000?

Testing in Microsoft EMEA's Windows 2000 lab

All users of Navision Financials, including earlier versions, will benefit from the Windows 2000 platform. Navision Software is making sure that users can migrate from earlier versions to the latest Microsoft operating system. Testing has been carried out at the Microsoft/Compaq Windows 2000 Migration Laboratory.

SQL Server Access Violation Occurs When You Redesign a Table
If you change a two-field primary key (PK) in a table to a non-unique one field PK, this change will generate a SQL Server Access Violation.
This bug has been reported to Microsoft

Period and Comma Confusion When You Use External Tools
If a NF database on SQL Server has a company or column name with contains a period ?.? then retrieving data is a problem. If you are using MS Query (for example, Excel) then you will get an error message like ?syntax error at ?,?in query?. Using quotation marks around the dot(s) helps in some cases, but there is no easy work-around for this problem.
This bug has been reported to Microsoft

Incorrect Prompt Appears When You Delete a Record
When you select a line in a table (left mouse-click in the far-left column of the table), pressing F4 to delete that line will produces the correct dialog. If however, you have selected only one of the fields in the line and you press F4 to delete that line then a prompt will appear asking whether the Table should be deleted. Pressing ?Yes? only deletes the record as intended.
This will be corrected in a future release.

Object Designer Is Not Updated When You Link It to Existing Objects
When a new table description is created that will link to an existing SQL Server object, and you press OK in the dialog prompting you to link, the object designer is not refreshed in the same way as it would be with a new non-linked table.
This will be corrected in a future release.

Error Occurs If Codepage for Fin.zup Is Different from the O/S Codepage
An error occurs if you open a client with a zup-file that has been created with a different codepage than the actual O/S codepage.
This will be corrected in a future release.

Table ID Is Not Cleared When You Store It
When you create two new tables and save them with the same ID but with different names, then the first new table will be overwritten when you save the second new table. The following scenario illustrates the problem:

1. Generate a new table and save it.
2. Create another new table and try to save it with the same ID as the first one but with a different name.
3. Click 'No' when prompted about whether the existing object should be replaced.
4. Click 'Cancel' when prompted for ID and name for the table.
5. Close the table designer.
Now a dialog appears asking whether the table with ID and name entered in (2) should be saved. Saying 'Yes' here will overwrite the table created in (1).
This will be corrected in a future release.

Difference Between Set and Reported Size in DBMS Cache
DBMS Cache is allocated in blocks of 8KB and the actual cache size is reported in the Database Information window. This means that if you set the DBMS Cache size to a number not divisible by 8, you will create a difference between the set size and the reported size. This is a documentation issue.
This will be corrected in a future release.

Problems When You Filter on the Character ?@?
Filtering on records containing the character ?@? is problematic.
This will be corrected in a future release.

Lookup in Chart of Account in Totaling Field
New
If you enter a value in the totaling field that is longer than 20 characters, you will get an error if you do a lookup.

Cached Objects (Databases Table)
If you open the Open Database window, and open the lookup in the Database Name field, the field will sometimes display a list of databases from a previous SQL Server.
