Windows 7 and NAV 4.3

You need to put on the latest build for it to work properly otherwise you will see issues IE it wont work

Other option is to do a technical upgrade of the client if issues still persist.

Did you apply the latest patch then get this error?

from what i read and recall perhaps you didn't copy over the new fin.stx file to the client folder correctly?

I am using Win 7 since the compatibility hotfix of NAV 4.0SP3 and I had no problems with that (even when I am using 64bit OS).

If your client build no. is bigger than 25143, you do not need any update to have working NAV under win 7. Of course, best is to have newest build installed. List of existing builds and connected KBs (from which you can request the hotfix) can be found e.g. on Waldo's blog.
