Problems during NAV 5.0 Installation

Hi friends,

I want to know, what are the common problems that can arise during
NAV 5.0 sp1 installation. Please list them…

NAV 5.0 sp1 with SQL Server 2005 standard edition

I am going to install C/SIDE Client in some machines. How can I know the machine satisfies the requirements of NAV by means of software and hardware?

    Well if you are installing NAV 5.1 on to client machines then some things you can watch out for are.

    IF its Vista or Windows 7
    - Make sure you install the latest build for 5.1 on the machines after you install
    Read the minium requirements recommendation

    The rest you can probably find on the site by seaching

    Problems that can arise:
    No administrator rights
    Not connected to the network
    Other installation programs are running simultaneously
    No cd/dvd-rom capable of reading your cd/dvd
    No experienced consultants handling the installation
    No harddisk space available

    Sometime you needs to download and install vcredist_x86.exe first.
