C/ODBC Nav 3.70 French and permissions

Hi,
We have just bought C/ODBC module for navision 3.70 in French.
We can use it well event if there are no outer join
My worry is that I can't make it work without using a login which got the role super on all the database. The password is stored in clear in couple of places it is not so great....
I have tried to give rights read only on all tables data and tables but there is no way I can make it work...
Got an idea? [-o<
