VM Ware with Navision / SQL Server Performance

Hi Experts!

How is the performace of Nav SQL in VM Ware Environement, as one of our customer is requesting for this solution. Any issues are there??

Any one experienced any Issues or enjoying with Nav SQL in VM Ware environment. Please share your experience.

    Since that project we have done many, many more... Most virtual systems run like a charm, however the average performance loss is 10%.

    Fortunately this is never an issue for our custoners since they do not have performance issues and can easily compensate the 10% with some extra hardware... :mrgreen:

    Your right in the last post. We do performance tuning and at last we enhance our hardware by 10%.

    VM Ware can be a great platform for Navision. I also have many clients using it.

    BUT

    It does need to be done properly, don't think you can just put a big DB with lots of users on VW and it will just work, you need to work closely with the VM Partner to make sure it is set up for Navision correctly, and make sure a always to tune the Navision system properly.
