free conversion, how to handle

dear all,

how to handle the below situation?

we are selling machines to the customer, once sold there is some free upgradation is happening that we name it has "free conversion kit" for that machines.

we cant use this 100% discount since it is not discounted product.

so can any 1 pls provide the solutions.

    Not really sure what you're asking - you want to know how to charge a customer nothing for a free item?

    use free supply on the sales header (Any how it makes 100% discount on the sales Line :mrgreen: )

    Hi Savatage.

    its not a free item, we name it has free conversion kit, these are some parts to the machine.

    for eg., if u purchase a computer with 512mb ram, but some people will offer u free upgrade to 1 gb ram its the same situation. so we cant cost the customer though we cant give 100 %.
